Full description

This is a talent pool application, not a role with an immediate start date.

We are building a vetted network of finance professionals ahead of upcoming project demand. AI systems are increasingly asked to reason about financial statements, valuation, risk and regulation — and evaluating whether that reasoning is actually correct requires people who do this work for a living.

By applying, you join a curated pool. When a project matching your profile opens, you are contacted directly, with the scope and the compensation laid out upfront. There is no obligation to accept, and no penalty for declining. You stay in the pool for future opportunities.

Who can apply

We welcome professionals with real, hands-on experience across finance, including:

  • Financial analysts and FP&A professionals.
  • Accountants, auditors and controllers.
  • Investment analysts, equity research and portfolio professionals.
  • Corporate finance, M&A and valuation specialists.
  • Risk, credit and compliance professionals.
  • Quantitative analysts and financial data specialists.
  • Economists and market researchers.
  • Tax specialists.

What matters most is demonstrable experience solving real financial problems.

Evidence may come from professional work, published research or analysis, professional certification, academic work, or other verifiable output.

Certifications can strengthen an application, but they are not required on their own.

What this work typically looks like

Projects vary depending on the needs of our AI partners. Typical work may include:

  • Evaluating whether an AI system's financial reasoning, calculations and assumptions are correct.
  • Reviewing AI-generated analyses of financial statements, valuations, forecasts and models.
  • Identifying errors that are subtle but material — a wrong discount rate, a misapplied accounting treatment, a plausible-sounding but incorrect conclusion.
  • Designing realistic finance scenarios and test cases used to evaluate AI capabilities.
  • Creating evaluation criteria and rubrics that separate strong answers from weak ones.
  • Reviewing work produced by other finance professionals against those rubrics.

This is expert, task-based work performed remotely and asynchronously. It is about professional judgment, not volume.

Requirements

You should:

  • Have hands-on professional experience in at least one finance or accounting discipline.
  • Be able to provide at least one verifiable signal of your professional background.
  • Be comfortable reading and writing technical content in English.
  • Work only with the data provided by the project.

You must never use confidential client information, non-public company data, or any material you are not authorized to share. Vetto projects never require it.

Important: this work is the evaluation of AI systems. It is not investment advice, and nothing produced in these projects constitutes a recommendation to any investor.

Selection process

Phase 1 — Talent Pool Application

Complete this application with information about your background and experience.

We review your professional profile, verifiable signals, and screening responses. There are no interviews at this stage.

Candidates who meet the talent pool criteria become eligible for future finance opportunities.

Phase 2 — Project Selection

When a project matching your profile becomes available, we will contact you with the complete scope, expected workload, compensation, and timeline.

Depending on the project, you may be asked to complete a short exercise designed to resemble the actual work.

Performance on project-specific assessments is typically the strongest selection signal.

Compensation

Compensation is defined separately for each project and is communicated before you decide whether to participate.

Projects are generally paid per approved task, with payment converted to your local currency where applicable.

Rates vary based on the complexity of the project and the level of expertise required.
