  4. Conduct basic legal research using only public sources to inform document analysis and recommendations.
  5. Translate complex legal concepts into clear, accessible language for non-lawyer audiences.
  6. Adhere strictly to confidentiality and conflict-of-interest protocols, working exclusively with public or synthetic data.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active or lapsed bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  2. 4+ years of practice experience, with a strong focus on document-heavy legal work (e.g., contracts, compliance, transactions).
  3. Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, review, and risk assessment.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining legal concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal analysis.
